Efoil London was born from a passion of the water and watersports disciplines ranging from windsurf foiling, kite foiling, wing foiling, surfing, SUP and any other wind and wave generated watersport. After endless days and weeks of waiting for the wind we discovered the attraction and remarkable versatility of the LIFT Efoil.

In a World rammed with emails, screens, fake news, scams, wars and political melt down, we exist to bring our community back to the moment and deliver that Friday feeling every day of the week. This is the moment our riders find balance; when they stop focusing on what they should be doing and instead focus on what they want to do. That feeling of forgetting everything in the moment whilst flying silently over the water. Welcome the LIFT efoil.
OUR STORY
After the lowest recorded wind during 2018 for 70 years and day after day of sitting by the water with nothing exciting to do, a man flew past e-foiling on what was then more recognisable as a hoverboard from Back to the Future. That man was our first inspiration, the first client in the UK to buy a LIFT e-foil board. That was the inspiration that started it all, Efoil Hayling Island was born and due to the ever growing popularity of the sport Efoil London opened in 2022 to cater for people from the city look for their weekend thrills
OUR LOCATIONS
We can offer both lessons and demos at either of our two locations. Our London based centre at the Queen Mother reservoir, Datchet. Or our South Coast centre at West Beach, Hayling Island.
Both of our locations offer great efoiling conditions. London, Datchet due to it’s enclosed surroundings, offering flat water whatever the weather and Hayling Island offering unlimited space, perfect wave riding conditions and the largest efoil community in the UK.
Queen Mother Reservoir
Opened in 1976 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, and home to the Datchet Sailing Club the reservoir is 475 acres (1.92 km2) in size or almost two kilometres long and over a kilometre wide, making it one of the largest inland areas of water in Southern England. Only 15 mins from London and nestled in the shadow of Windsor Castle the Queen Mother reservoir offers perfect flat water conditions, whatever the weather, to learn to efoil.
As well as great efoiling conditions the reservoir is open to sailors, windsurfers, wingfoilers and stand up paddleboards, also offering large changing rooms, with warm showers, canteen, lounge and a large astroturf rigging area.
HAYLING ISLAND
Hayling Island is the home of windsurfing and arguably the best efoil location in the British Isles, boasting a sandbar which on the right day produces a mile long foil surfing wave. Efoil Hayling and Efoil London is now proudly the largest Efoil Community in the UK with people from all walks of life making the pilgrimage to this incredible location, located off the southern coast of England and only one hours drive from London, Hayling is recognised as one of the premier watersports locations in the UK.
Hayling's West Beach has long been a popular destination for various water activities, particularly sailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing foiling and now efoiling. Lying at the west end of the seafront, the waters here are the most sheltered by the West Winner sand bar, a mile-long sandbank that extends out to sea, ensuring the waves are never too big in the summer and that, as the tide rises during the day, the water is usually warmer here than other parts of the South Coast.

Hi I’m Oly
Founder, instructor and the guy that will hopefully change your life completely if you buy a Lift e-foil board. I was the first LIFT efoiler ever at Hayling Island and have passed the sport to 100s of clients like you already.
A parent to 2 teenage girl efoilers, I’m I a watersports fanatic through and through, be it boats, foils, sails, wings, I love them all. I have travelled the world taking my efoil to places like Puerto Rico the home of LIFT. I have foiled with Nick and Mike Leason the inventors of the efoil, flown in Sicily, France, Spain, Dubai, Cape Verde to name but a few. Efoiling opens the doors to meet new people that become clients then friends for life. I will be there to guide you through the complete process, teach you to ride, get you up on foil that very first magical time and help you to select the correct equipment and guide you through the size of board wings and your entire set up when purchasing your 1st LIFT e foil. I understand its a daunting and costly process and I will be there to put your mind at rest when you’re ready to make that plunge into the unknown.
I’m RYA power boat trained and a LIFT Foils accredited trainer, I’m fully insured with First Aid. My role is to make it safe and fun for you and ensure I make your every day a foiling day.

My watersports history started back in the very early days of kitesurfing, in the late 90s. I was one of the first, if not the first to Kitesurf on Hayling Island, Witterings and Southsea.
I Stopped Kitesurfing around 2007, due to injury and never really got back into it, until the watersports bug bit once again when wingfoiling and efoiling emerged.
I find efoiling is such a social sport, you can travel in any direction you choose, not dictated to by the wind direction, and have a chat with you friends whilst out on the water riding. For me nothing can beat efoiling in waves. I now have my own personal tow-in craft. Power onto the wave, release the trigger and freeride.

Hi I’m Nikki
I am a qualified musician that likes a more serene life than the boys, I love to paddle board, swim, keep fit and welcome less adrenaline junkie style customers into this exciting sport. I look after the orders, look after the payment cycle and keep you up to date on your new LIFT efoil. I do like to join the e-foilers, of course when the weather is perfect and it’s flat warm and generally idyllic.
